koala is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Vanderbilt University, D2L (Brightspace), Gradescope, zyBooks, or any other school or vendor. Whether their terms allow you to use a calendar feed or forward course email to a third-party tool is between you and them; koala only uses access that you choose to give it.
koala+ is offered as a monthly subscription or a one-time semester pass, at the prices shown on the website at the time you buy. Payments are processed by Stripe. A monthly subscription renews until you cancel; a semester pass ends on the last day of finals for the semester in which you bought it. If koala isn't working for you, email hello@lockinkoala.com within 14 days of a purchase and we'll refund it, no questions.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for missed deadlines, late or undelivered texts, inaccurate information, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of koala, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
